
4-H Scholarship Recipients
California

Morgin Sheppard - Morgin is an 8-year 4-H member from Nevada County, CA. She has been extremely active in the California High School Rodeo, competing in all six girl events. She has also been involved with numerous 4-H projects including sewing/textiles, dog care and training, Horse, Market Lamb, Market Steer, and Market Swine. She will be attending the University of Montana Western where she will major in Agriculture Business and minor in Early Childhood Education. She would also like to learn American Sign Language and get an Interpreters Degree.
Illinois
Elizabeth Collins - Elizabeth is a 9-year 4-H member from Grundy County, IL. She has been extremely involved in the Horse Project and has enjoyed learning about various other animal projects. After receiving her degree from Joliet Junior College, Elizabeth would like to major in Agribusiness at either Illinois State University or Iowa State University. Her goal is to one day manage her own boarding facility and breed and train Paint and Quarter horses.
Indiana
Trisha L. Neidlinger - Trisha is a 9-year 4-H member from Marshall County, IN. She has been an active member, taking projects in photography, gift wrapping, recycling, and child development. She was also lucky enough to represent Marshall County on the Citizenship Washington D.C. Focus Trip. While in Washington, she debated current issues and brainstormed ways to help her community. While still undecided on which college to attend, Trisha would like to pursue a degree in biology/genetics.
Iowa
Sara Morine - Sara is currently a junior at Iowa State University, majoring in Animal Science Pre-vet. She has always been interested in helping with animal health, understanding diseases and treatments, and recognizing sick animals. She is a member of Block and Bridle and is currently a co-chair for the Agricultural Pavilion Fundraising Committee. Her goals are to own a large animal veterinarian clinic in a rural community in Iowa and to act as an advocate for the agriculture industry.
Minnesota
Matt Dell - Matt is a freshman at the University of Minnesota. He currently studying civil engineering. Once he graduates, Matt would like to continue raising beef cattle.
Stacey Glaess - Stacey is a freshman at the University of Minnesota. She plans to major in Pre-vet.
Wisconsin
Tina Holst - Tina is a member of the Calumet County, WI 4-H club.
